Can Virtus Bologna win at Cantu?
Normally it had to be an easy game for Virtus Bologna. Cantu, in spite of the results, has one of the shortest rotation in the Italian League. If you look at their stats, only 5 players do 90% of the points. The bench is almost absent. This ain’t go work forever. Not in front of teams with 10-11 players included in the rotation.
Virtus Bologna is one of those teams with quality large rotation. But they have two problems: they will change the coach very soon and they have to be focused on the 2nd leg of the Basketball Champions League playoff against Le Mans. So it’s possible for them no to focus on this Legabasket ordinary game. Excepting these circumstances, Virtus Bologna would have won comfortably at Cantu.
Let’s see if the visitors can motivate themselves today to make a good game in Legabasket, even if their priority is Basketball Champions League Final 4.
