So, it was not enough that the refs of the final compromised Copa del Rey 2019 by their huge mistakes. Now they seem to be affected by the truth expressed by the players and by the whole community. Instead of considering themselves guilty and accept their errors, these 3 referees asked Spanish League to punish Felipe Reyes and Facundo Campazzo for the later protest against the manner of arbitration.
According to CADENA SER, the Spanish League decided to retire the licences of these 2 Real Madrid players because they use their freedom of speech. This is what the Spanish league wants: obedient sheep that are silently slaughtered. If nobody would have protested against the referees, the final minute of the Copa del Rey would have been never discussed. The protests are welcomed in a normal society. They are a sign that something was done wrong and the authority had to do something for the cause of the protesters, not to punish them. In a normal organization, not in LIGA ACB of course, where the guilty referees are asking in a loud voice the league to punish exactly the players, now 2 times victims of the same stupid mistake!!! What a shame for The Spanish Basketball Federation!
