The favorite teams to win the FIBA World Cup 2023
Soon, the FIBA World Cup will start and among the participants, some teams definitely will reach the highest stages. Other teams like Lebanon, Egypt, Japan, Jordan and so on will try to do some decent games but then they will be back home without any chance of the title.
Let’s see which teams could be on the stage, stealing a medal at the World Cup:
Spain – they are the reigning champions of the World and they always come with a good roster. Even if now they don’t have an impressive and experienced guard like Rubio or Brown, the solid game and the efficient share of the ball can bring them a medal.
USA – not big names as LeBron, Curry, or Durant, but still a very skilled team with decent names on the roster and a good level of basketball.
France – they are better than last year in Berlin when they lost the final of the Eurobasket against Spain and definitely they will fight for a top spot.
Canada, Australia, and Brazil – three teams that have many NBA players on their roster and nobody knows when they can explode and eliminate any opponent at the World Cup.
Serbia – even if they are without some key players, the Serbians are always dangerous and they can surprise any team.
Slovenia – because of Luka Doncic, we cannot ignore totally their possibility to reach a medal, depending as well on their road to the final stages.
