Virtus Bologna’s amazing comeback vs. Umana Venezia
Yesterday, when I saw Umana Venezia leading by 39-20 at Virtus Bologna I was very happy because it was an excellent opportunity to bet. The odds on Virtus were huge and their comeback was more than predictable. For the followers of my Telegram channel with basketball betting tips, I had the recommendation to trust Virtus to reach firstly 15 and 20 points in the 3rd quarter of the game.
Virtus Bologna came back after halftime and won both quarters with 27-19 and 23-14, securing the win. It was an amazing comeback and the probability to have it were quite big. Why I was so sure? Because Reyer Umana Venezia had a busy week with many trips. First, they played in Valencia in Eurocup, then they moved to Turkey to meet Bursaspor and then they were back to Italy for the derby with Virtus Bologna.
After so many games and long distances made in a short period of time they had to be very tired and it was very clear to me that Venezia couldn’t maintain that advantage till the end. They are a great team, but their roster is not the same as in Eurocup, while Virtus Bologna signed last week two Euroleague players, Tornike Shengelia and Daniel Hackett. Both players coming from CSKA Moscow were the main contributors for their new squad with 15 and 16 points scored, helping Virtus Bologna a lot to steal the win.
