Baxi Manresa with the first chance in front of Ludwigsburg
Tomorrow is the big day of the semifinals of the Basketball Champions League. The second battle will oppose Ludwigsburg and Baxi Manresa. The Catalans are having back Dani Perez and Sylvain Francisco, both of them missing a couple of games but now recovered from injuries. Without these 2 amazing guards, it would have been extremely difficult for Manresa to stop the German run-and-gun led by Jonah Radebaugh and Justin Simon.
Now, with the roster almost complete (Dani Garcia and Guillem Jou are still out), Baxi Manresa can dream of the title. Ludwigsburg still can be a tough opponent and they have also back Tekele Cotton for a complete rotation. Let’s not forget they destroyed Iberostar Tenerife home and away in the group phase already this season. The German defense is a nightmare for many teams in Europe and their offense can be lethal if they can do their game.
If I have to pick a winner, I think that Manresa has the first chance not only in this encounter but as well to steal the trophy of the Champions League. They looked extremely dangerous the whole season and their chemistry is working perfectly. Their head coach, Pedro Martinez with his bright strategy and discipline is the man behind their success. As they are playing in Spain, this could be a great advantage too because the crowds of fans will be there to support Manresa.
