Betting tips: Olimpia Milano to have an easy game at Treviso
It will be the first round of Italian league and Olimpia Milano will play away at the newly promoted De Longhi Treviso. I am expecting an easy game for the Euroleague powerhouse, especially because:
- Treviso has just a few quality players: Canadian forward Isaac Fotu, American Jordan Parks, the Slovenian guard Aleksej Nikolić and former Euroleague star David Logan, who soon will be 37 years old. The Italian players are not so strong for Legabasket Serie A and that’s why the rotation is very short for Treviso.
- Milano is coming after a very good preseason where recently they have beaten Olympiacos, Fenerbahce and Maccabi Tel Aviv. They have an improved formula this year and a better coach in Ettore Messina. Their expectations are huge in both the domestic league and the Euroleague, after a failed season when they have missed everything!
- Because the Euroleague season will start only on 3 October, Olimpia Milano has now the possibility to focus 100% on the Italian league. They have so many talented players, including 6 Italians of great value, that is almost impossible to cease in front of Treviso.
I recommend you to take an additional handicap for this game, let’s say Olimpia Milano -5,5, but I won’t be surprised if they will smash Treviso by 15-20, but this margin even if reflects the real value of the teams, depends on many factors.
