Betting tips: Turk Telekom to prevail over Besiktas
I think this is one of the easiest bet ever for many reasons. I will start with the financial situation of Besiktas who lost 3 foreigners last month because of being late with the salaries. It’s about the Americans Jordan Theodore, Shaquielle McKissic and James McAdoo, very strong and experienced players. The only foreigners left in the roster for Besiktas are Toddrick Gotcher and Nemanja Durisic, but the Turkish club can count on a couple of local players like Oguz Savas, Birkan Batuk, Ismet Akpinar and Burak Can Yildizli.
Unfortunately in the last game played in the Turkish league at Afyon, another player missed for Besiktas: the young and talented center Samet Geyik who is probably injured. In these circumstances, Besiktas has only a 7 players rotation, which is not enough for Basketball Champions League’s playoff. Especially now when they will face Turk Telekom, one of the most powerful teams of the season.
Turk Telekom has won the group A of the BasketballCL and they are strong candidates to be in the Final4 of the competition. Maybe they will organize it in their home-court, in Ankara, one of the biggest arenas in the competition. In the last game lost at home this weekend against Pinar Karsiyaka, they couldn’t count on C.J. Harris and Muhammed Baygul, but still, they are having a top roster, headlined by the French giant Moustapha Fall (2.18 m), the Canadian international power forward Kyle Wiltjer, a couple of American guards T. J. Campbell and Nick Johnson and many Turkish decent players who can come big from the bench.
If C. J. Harris and Muhammed Baygul will play then I am expecting a big margin for Turk Telekom. Also in their absence, I think that the host team will win anyway with at least 8-10 points.
