Top 5 most efficient teams of the season in Basketball Champions League
Even if the season is suspended due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Basketball Champions League could continue later in May or even June. It’s playoff time and now we can have a look a the most efficient squads involved in the competition.
5. JDA Dijon
The French team was one of nicest surprises of the season in BasketballCL. They still have a big chance to surprise even more because they can reach the quarterfinals of the European race if they can win the last game at home against Nizhny Novgorod. The serie is tied, each team winning their home game. Anyway, till now Dijon is averaging an impressive index rate: 95.8 units per game.
4. Polski Cukier Torun
The Polish team had some good games this season, even if they didn’t qualify to the BasketballCL playoffs. Maybe next year they can do better. They had a huge index rate (99.3), also because they have played some overtimes which increased their numbers.
3. San Pablo Burgos
The Spaniards are completing a great road till now, being a force in the BasketballCL. They have just eliminated Dinamo Sassari in 2 games and are ready for the quarterfinals. Their efficiency is almost 100 units per game.
2. Turk Telekom
They are definitely among the title contenders this season and maybe they will organize the Final 4, if there will be any. The powerhouse from Ankara eliminated in the 1st round of the playoffs other Turkish squad, Besiktas and now are looking forward very confident, especially because of their huge index rate: 101.8 units per game.
1. Hapoel Jerusalem
Many saw them as a trophy contender last season when Iberostar Tenerife sank them in the quarterfinals, reaching the Final 4 in Antwerp. This season again, the Israeli team is continuing the fight and the efficiency value is recommending them by far: 104.8 units per game. Who knows, maybe if they will organize the Final 4, they can achieve the ultimate glory.
