Efes should storm past Virtus Bologna

The 32nd round of the Euroleague will be opened on Thursday, March 30 in Sinan Erdem Sports Hall by the meeting between Anadolu Efes and Virtus Bologna.
Ataman’s players are in a difficult situation at the end of this season, with every match being almost a win-or-die. Although they won last round, they are still out of the playoff places, having 15 wins and 16 defeats, one victory away from the 8th place occupied by Baskonia. After the 2 bad matches played against Partizan and Alba, this week started in the best possible way with a victory by a big margin against a candidate for the playoffs, Milan 89-69. Larkin’s 18 points, Clyburn’s 16 points, Micic’s 15 points and Beaubois’s 12 points were the main scorers for Milan again making a good match Luwawu-Cabarrot’s 19 points.
Unlike the Turks, for the Italians, this European season is over. Although they had chances and hoped for a place in the playoffs, the last rounds were disastrous both in terms of results and injuries. They arrived in Turkey after 3 consecutive defeats in the Euroleague against Monaco, Real Madrid and Maccabi. It ranks 14th with 13 wins and 18 defeats. In the first match of this week they suffered a hard defeat against Maccabi 111-80, in double digits were Ojeleye 16 points and Abass 13 points, the defense did not work at all allowing a lot of easy points. For the match in Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, Awudu Abass will be missing because of an injury to the adductor of his left thigh along with him will also be missing Isaia Cordinier, Alessandro Pajola and Milos Teodosic who is also their leader in points and assists.
We can hope for a match in which Efes can easily pass the points mark scored in the match in Italy with Virtus, 85, especially since the Italians come with a decimated morale after the match with Maccabi and with a lot of injuries. The Turks play their second match at home this week and for Virtus is their second away match.
