London Lions with an easy win over Slask Wroclaw
One of the easiest bets of this week recommended on my private Telegram channel was on London Lions to win over the visitors from Poland. The simple victory had 1.47 odds, but I aimed for more so I advised also to take a small handicap on the English team. A -4.5 handicap on London Lions had 1.90 odd on bet365 and it was something affordable.
I put all my trust in London Lions because they are not the same team they were in the first round of the competition. Sam Dekker and Kostas Koufos are back from injury since 3 weeks ago, then the team added the ex-NBA player Myie Oni and the roster is now completed.
Let’s take the case of the Lions’ last addition. Myie Oni came from NBA and he can contribute exactly what the squad needs. He is not expected to score 20 points per game, but he can be of great help in doing his part. Yesterday he had 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 21 minutes. But, beyond the statistics, he brings energy and power from defense to offence.
On the other side, Slask Wroclaw is an ambitious team and maybe they will win some games in Eurocup, but what I know for sure is that in Copperbox Arena there is no mercy for average squads. The London Lions are looking very dangerous for any opponents and even if they were seen as a true underdog at the beginning of the competition, they could be actually a title contender. Everything depends on the chemistry that the next months will bring in or not, but the roster is solid and very deep.
