Olimpia Milano trying to win against Fenerbahce

Maybe the most interesting game of Round 4 will be played at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, between Olimpia Milan and Fenerbahce Istanbul. Both teams are very motivated in front of this clash and won’t give up easily.

The hosts made a lot of changes this summer and they are still inconsistent, losing surprisingly some games in the Italian league. However, in the Euroleague, they started well and it’s expected for them to get better and better. Milan also had injury woes so far, but now Vladimir Micov and Arturas Gudaitis are back and also Nemanja Nedovic is expected to return.

On the other side, Fenerbahce BEKO had a rough start in the Euroleague, losing their first two away games in Madrid and Belgrade. Last week however they beat Baskonia at home and they are also showing signs of improvement. Another good news for the Turkish team is the return of French big man Joffrey Lauvergne after an eight-month absence. But, at the same time, Nikola Kalinic will miss the encounter due to an injury.

The game will also feature the meeting of two legendary coaches, Zeljko Obradovic and Ettore Messina. The two have a long history, facing each other in 3 Euroleague finals in 2002, 2007 and 2009 (Obradovic winning all three of these meetings).

It’s almost impossible to tell which team will get the win tonight. The betting sites give Fenerbahce aș favourites, but it will be a game that will come down to the slightest of details and I expect a very close battle.
