Olimpia Milano will start to win games in the EuroLeague

The moment of truth has come for Armani Olimpia Milano. With the signing of Shabazz Napier, they have made a big move on the market filling the right hole they had on the roster. Actually, they needed all these months somebody to replace Kevin Pangos and organize the offense. A team full of talented guys with an amazing potential to score was almost always unable to score easy baskets. Too many turnovers, too many missing shots, and some low percentages. But this has to be the past. With Napier and also with Datome back from injury, Milano has to show us some good basketball.

The first opponent will be Baskonia, who 2 months ago destroyed Armani Milano in Vitoria. The Basque team is coming after an astonishing win over the reigning champions Anadolu Efes and they look scary. But let’s not forget they have lost Pierria Henry and signed Max Heidegger, a good player but he will need time to integrate into the strategy of the team. This weekend Baskonia travelled to Murcia where they won but Olimpia Milano will be much more rested and playing at home in both games of the week in the Euroleague, which will bring them the motivation and the focus they need in order to win.

Olimpia Milano had an easy game at home against Trento and they offered many minutes to the Italian players resting some important foreigners because we all know that this week is crucial for them in the EuroLeague. With 2 wins against Baskonia and Crvena Zvezda, Olimpia Milano can come closer to the playoff, while if they will lose the situation will be very dramatic for them!
