Tyson Chandler

  Tyson Chandler

Tyson Chandler, a veteran player in the league, is currently in his 19th season in the NBA, so this says a lot about his talent as a basketball player. However, mainly defense and rebounding is what kept him this long in the league, because he never had a season in which he scored more than 11,8 PPG. That’s ok, given the fact that he is a center and he went through the changings of the style of basketball, which emulated from inside the paint, to the outside of it. Tyson Chandler won the Defensive Player of the Year award once, in the 2011-12 season, he’s a one-time NBA Champion with the Dallas Mavericks and was selected three times in the All-Defensive team. Throughout his career, he played for multiple teams, such as Chicago Bulls, New Orleans, New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Charlotte Hornets and half a season for the Los Angeles Lakers, as well. He had 4 double-double seasons and a few of them with more rebounds than points scored. Chandler was always a good presence in the paint, both offensively and defensively, and he helped the Mavs a lot in 2011 when they somehow managed to beat the Miami Heat superteam.
