The tip of the week: Petkimspor won at Merkezefendi
Two days ago, on my private Telegram channel with betting tips (to join my channel write a Whatsapp at +34 612414486), I recommended betting on Petkimspor at Merkezefendi in the Turkish league. I have chosen Petkimspor to win because:
- The odd on Unibet was at that moment much higher than any other bookies (2.30 on Petkim, compared with only 2.12 on Betano). It was clear that this odd will drop at the game time to 1.90, which actually happened. Even if you placed that bet for cash out was already a good bet.
- Petkimspor and Merkezefendi are two average Turkish teams. I think Merkezefendi will try to avoid relegation, while Petkimspor will fight to reach a playoff spot. If you analyze the roster, you see that Petkim has foreigners with more experience in European high leagues than their opponents. The local players (Yildirim, Arar, Ulusoy, Engindeniz) are also much better than the Turkish players of Merkezefendi. All in all the rotation of Petkim is by far superior.
- The most important argument for my choice was the preseason. Both teams had a couple of friendly games against other Turkish clubs and the results were very different. Petkimspor played very well the whole preseason, winning most of their encounters, while Merkezefendi lost almost all of them. It was an important sign for me that was showing the level of each team and the chemistry they have reached for now.
Petkim led the whole game, dominating the first 3 quarters and eventually winning with a comfortable margin: 79-70.
