After having a lot of bad luck last season, plagued with injuries, Fenerbahce will face with hope the next Euroleague. They are rebuilding the team, getting rid of some players like Tyler Ennis and Erick Green and adding some new faces which prove both their financial stability and their hunger for results.
Last season, Fenerbahce finished on the 1st spot the regular season and then because of multiple injuries they lost both games in the Final 4. It was a bit disappointing, but now they are back in the lines, ready to fight. The addition of former Euroleague MVP, Nando de Colo and Leo Westermann, together with re-signing Kostas Sloukas for the next seasons will provide them one of the best backcourts in Europe.
The veteran Bobby Dixon is still there and the 2018-2019 MVP, Jan Vesely will do anything possible to dominate the rim once again. Now, Fenerbahce is looking to sign an NBA power forward, which could be Quincy Acy to replace Niccolo Melli, who just went to the NBA.
If the acquisition campaign will continue like this, Fenerbahce can be again one of the title contenders for the next Euroleague season, which can bring Zeljko Obradovic his 10th title. Definitely, they will face a tough F. C. Barcelona, who just made one of the most savages signings this decade.
