Fuenlabrada scored just 3 points in the 3rd quarter
The absence of the veteran guard Marko Popovic seems very important for Fuenlabrada. They have now 11 losses in a row, in Spanish League and Basketball Champions League. Nobody remembers that Fuenlabrada is the team who started the season with 3 consecutive victories against tough opponents: at Brose Bamberg, at home against Antwerp Giants and then again on the road, beating Dijon.
This time, the French team dominated the entire game against a pathetic shadow of Fuenlabrada (who have won this season also against Barcelona). After 3 quarters the Spanish squad had just 34 points scored. At the halftime, Fuenlabrada scored a decent 31 but in the 3rd period, the disaster couldn’t be avoided. To be a team in the best domestic league of Europe, Liga ACB and to score just 3 points in a quarter, this is a complete negative record. And not against AEK, Hapoel Jerusalem, Tenerife or Brose, but against a normal team like Dijon, who try to escape from the last spots of the group. I am speechless.
