How I managed at live Fortitudo Bologna – Reggio Emilia?

Yesterday, an awaited derby for the playoff run took place in Bologna: Fortitudo hosting Reggio Emilia. Two teams that started the season with high hopes and after problems with injuries, covid-19 and roster’s charges are fighting now to reach the last spot of the Legabasket playoffs.

Fortitudo Bologna started very well the encounter but after only 4 minutes they lost one of their top players, Wesley Saunders. Then later in the second quarter Todd Whithers got injured too. In these circumstances, the rotation shortened a lot with Fortitudo Bologna having only 2 foreigners, Adrian Banks and Dario Hunt plus some brave Italian players like Pietro Aradori, Matteo Fantinelli, Leonardo Tote and so on. At that moment, at halftime even if Fortitudo was ahead with a couple of points it seemed they cannot resist against Reggio Emilia who had 6 foreigners plus some decent home-grown players.

The odd was 3.10 on Reggio Emilia and I advised the subscribers of my Premium telegram channel to bet on that big odd. As expected Reggio Emilia made an amazing run and the odd on them dropped a lot, reaching 1.71 when I recommended making cashout because the game was tied and dangerous to continue with the initial bet.

It was a good choice since Reggio Emilia was not able to control the end of the encounter losing by a couple of points. In spite of a short bench, Fortitudo Bologna proved great concentration and collective effort in the final stanza.
