Milwaukee Bucks’ history begin with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, a Hall of Famer and a legend of the game. Kareem, together with Oscar Robertson, won the single championship in the entire Bucks’ history, in 1971. Three seasons later, they managed to get into another NBA Finals, but this time they lost in seven games to the Boston Celtics. After Abdul-Jabbar chose to leave the team and join the Lakers, the Bucks never saw that level of intensity anymore, given the fact that Oscar Robertson left the team, too, in 1974, when he retired from any professional basketball activity. Ray Allen is another Hall of Famer who played in Milwaukee, being coached by the veteran George Karl for a few years. During his time there, the highest achievement was an Eastern Conference Finals matchup against the Sixers, which they lost. After all that, the Bucks kind of went downhill and they never really seem to have a star player on which they can rely on, so because of that, they never made it past the first round again. In 2013, though, they got Giannis Antetokounmpo with their 15^th overall pick in the draft, a player who is turning out to be the superstar that they have searched for a lot of years. Antetokounmpo and his supporting cast have the potential to reach another NBA Finals in the near future, so the Milwaukee Bucks organization is in good hands for now.
