The best 3 point shooters still in the competition in FIBA Europe Cup

FIBA Europe Cup is paused due to Coronavirus but the competition reached the semifinals stage with 4 teams involved, Pinar Karsiyaka, the main title contender since the beginning, Bahcesehir Koleji, the second Turkish presence, the Germans Medi Bayreuth and the nicest surprise of the season Bakken Bears from Denmark.
These squads proved they have the level to be in the semis also because they have some of the best 3 point shooters FIBA Europe Cup. Let’s see then the TOP 5 of the most impressive players from the arc still in the competition for the trophy:
5. Thomas Laerke – with almost 46% from the arc, the Danish forward of Bakken Bears helped the team in some of the most difficult moments, scoring 16 from 35.
4. Dwight Hardy – the American guard is a bit over 46% at this category, but he scored a lot of 3 pointers this season: 35 from 76, propelling Bahcesehir into the playoffs and then the semifinals of the competition.
3, Nate Linhart – the experienced forward of Medi Bayreuth had 46.4% from the 3 point line, scoring 13 from 28. He is not a shooter but he can appear in crucial moments to seal the victory from the arc.
2. Tony Taylor – finalist of the Champions League with Banvit (2017) and winner of the same competition last season with Virtus Bologna, the American guard can do anything on the court, but from the 3 point line, he is simply amazing. This year with Pinar Karsiyaka he has 56% with 28 scored from 50 attempted shots.
1. Bastian Doreth, ignored many times by the opponent team – I don’t know why – the German guard of Medi Bayreuth has been one of the most offensive weapons in FIBA Europe Cup’s playoff this season. He is having the best percentage from the arc from all the players who will meet in the semifinals and he is as well 2nd overall in the competition at this category with 26/46 for 56.6%. Only Fabio Lima (Benfica) had a better percentage (62.2%), but his team didn’t qualify to the playoffs.
