The best ex-NBA American player in the Euroleague
Two days ago, we started a poll on our main FB group “European basketball” (https://www.facebook.com/groups/327211604742354/) about who is the best American player with previous NBA experience who activates now in the Euroleague.
According to the fans’ vote here are the first 3 most impressive American players:
3. Derrick Williams, ex-teammate of Lebron James at Cleveland Cavaliers, reaching with them the 2017 NBA Finals. He averages 14.1 points and 15.3 index rate in 22 games played this season for Bayern Munich.
2. Anthony Randolph (Real Madrid), Eurobasket champion with Slovenia (2017) and Euroleague champion with Real Madrid (2018). The American averages 13.3 points and 15.4 index rate in 23 games played so far this season.
1. “The one and only” Mike James is by far the favorite of the Euroleague fans. After 2 seasons spent in the NBA, he decided to come back to Europe, where, in the absence of Alexey Shved – who had better stats but is injured – he is the most dominant player in the Euroleague averaging 20.1 points and 21.4 index rate. He didn’t miss any Euroleague game for Olimpia Milano this season.
