When ex-international Spanish guard Carlos Cabezas joined Alba Fehervar I was very sceptical because of his age (he is born in 1980). And in the first games, he didn’t do much for his new team because he needed time to integrate and gain shape.
Yesterday instead, the veteran “exploded” for some fantastic numbers in the home game of Alba Fehervar, eliminating Telekom Bonn from Fiba Europe Cup in the 2nd leg of the playoff with 81-69.
Carlos Cabezas who scored 19 points, was the best player of his team on this category and the 2nd on efficiency with 20 units. But the most impressive was the percentage from the arc of the Spaniard who made 5/7 for 71.4%. He added as well 4/5 from the free-throw line, 3 rebounds and 5 assists to complete his performance.
