Virtus Bologna’s case: the European teams has to reduce the number of Americans

First of all, this is a universal problem. It was visible now in Bologna, but everywhere in the world when you add to your team 5 Afro-Americans there is a growing danger for this squad to play chaotic and to have more parties than focus on basketball. It’s not just about Virtus Bologna, but also about many other teams in Europe. The fact that Kevin Punter, Kelvin Martin, Mario Chalmers, Yanick Moreira and Tony Taylor had a party after the embarrassing loss against the last place of the Italian Championship, Pistoia proves this theory.

This has to be a lesson for all the teams in Europe. The selection of the roster is the most important for a team goal. Not just the individual value of the players, but their morality, their principles, their dedication for the entire organization. This kind of things nobody will learn it in the American Ghetto, where is a fight of everybody against everybody for survival. That’s why for this kind of people the main values are the drugs, girls, drinking a lot of alcohol, fights. Responsibility, sacrifice, decency, fairness are strange values for the Ghetto people. They simply cannot understand that.

The future of basketball in Europe has to be rethought. We don’t have to fill our rosters with weak American mercenaries who come here in Europe just for money, girls and parties. Out of here with all of them! Party people we have already enough in Europe! If you can be decent and loyal to your European clubs you can stay, if not, go back to work normal jobs in the USA.

Each country has to grow their own players, Italians in Italy, Turkish in Turkey, Lithuanians in Lithuania, Greeks in Greece, Spanish in Spain. And then you can add a couple of foreigner players who can help your own players to grow, not to sink their future! The clubs in Europe has to find European players in the first place and maybe after this to find 1 or 2 American players maximum. I know that many teams take more American players because they are many and they are cheap. But cheap things will remain cheap also on the court and outside the court as well.

And in this video embedded from Twitter, you will see once again how the Americans from Virtus Bologna are partying. But I don’t understand what they are celebrating? The loss at home to Pistoia? Kevin Punter’s 2 points scored with 1 from 9 shots made? Tony Taylor’s 3 points? Their low IQ? Their selfish plays? The ability to be ridiculous?
