The Euroleague newcomer lost all 3 games they had last week. First at home, against the reigning champions from Real Madrid, blowing the lead they at the beginning of the 4th quarter lost with 11-23.
The second loss, this time against Baskonia was even more pathetic. The visitors from Las Palmas were leading at the halftime, but in the second part of the game, they scored just 24 points, allowing Baskonia 44.
In the 3rd game of the week, at Valencia, Gran Canaria resisted again till halftime. In the second part, they were destroyed by the host team who dominated them in the paint.
What is very interesting is that last week Gran Canaria scored in every game the same amount of points: 67 vs. Real Madrid, 66 at BAskonia and against 67 at Valencia. With such a constant low scoring is not possible to do anything against strong teams.
