After winning at home in Basketball Champions League against tough AEK Athens (77-73), Bamberg has lost all his energy in the domestic league. They were defeated by the visitors Rasta Vechta with almost 20 points (85-67).
Bamberg scored just 67 points and many important players were almost absent from the game. I mean they were on the court around 20 minutes but their stats were very poor. Zizis scored just 2 points, Harris and Taylor – 4 each and another 4 bench players didn’t score at all.
After this bad performance, the coach Ainars Bagatskis was fired, but I am not sure this is the best solution for the future of the team.
