Barca disappointing again
I don’t know many teams that could lose so shamelessly at home against “this” Fenerbahce. Melih Mahmutoglu and Kostas Sloukas were injured. Sinan Guler was with Turkish national team. Gigi Datome was a game-time decision. So, it was the time for an easy win for any serious team. But not for Barcelona. They seem to have consumed all the bullets smashing Real Madrid and then to celebrate with a huge “fiesta” the victory.Beating Real was not a big thing. In fact, now is a trend to beat The EuroLeague reigning champions. Everybody can do this, it’s not a big achievement. I am kidding a bit, but let’s judge the situation seriously. The most important problem of Barcelona all these years was the lack of constancy. Just take a look at this game against Fenerbahce: three Barcelona’s key players had negative index rate: Kevin Pangos, Chris Singleton and Thomas Huertel.
Then, what to expect from this team, which every year signs big names of international basketball for the same mediocre results. This is not the recipe of success, that’s for sure. Not able to rebound, not able to defend, not able to score more than poor 65 points at home. And they are not Manresa or Breogan, they are the magnificent club FC BARCELONA.
