Baskonia over 81.5 points vs. Crvena Zvezda

Some betting websites offered yesterday over 81.5 points on Baskonia vs. the visitors from Belgrade at odd 1.80. Bet365 is offering +82.5 at 1.83 but has also many different options like +79.5 on the host team at 1.55. Why did I recommend to bet over on Baskonia?

Because to score 82 points it’s not much for a team that had good offensive players. But the main argument was given by the circumstances of the encounter. Baskonia had a lot of time to rest these days, while Crvena Zvezda had a long journey to Kaunas to play against Zalgiris two days ago then coming to the Basque country. All these flight changes will affect a bit the Serbian team and I am sure they won’t defend so good as if they were rested and hosting the event in their arena.

Then Crvena Zvezda parted ways with Johhny O’Bryant and they are missing also other players. And they should be resigned regarding this Euroleague season: they won’t be the last team simply because no squad can have a worse European campaign than Khimki Moscow.

This season is already over for Zvezda, while Baskonia is trying to reach the playoffs. I don’t bet the Baskonia’s win because the odd is extremely small, but I think that even in the case that Baskonia will lose against Zvezda they will score at least 82 points.
