Could Gran Canaria win at Real Madrid?

At the first look, this question seems crazy. Like all the great ideas of betting on the underdogs. I am sure that today many amateur gamblers will take Real Madrid on their betting ticket at the odd 1.07 combing this game wit other 15 “sure” results in order to increase their profit. But I have a different approach regarding this kind of encounters. I will pick up Gran Canaria to win in Madrid because:

• Los Blancos had a double-round week in Euroleague so they are a bit tired. Nicolas Laprovittola is out with Covid-19 and Jaycee Carroll got injured against Panathinaikos. These are important losses that even for a team with a very large rotation as Real Madrid will count.
• Gran Canaria lost five games in a row in Liga ACB and Eurocup. In spite of this, the roster is complete and very competitive, with 12 excellent players. Meeting Real Madrid will boost their motivation because every player would be proud to win against Los Blancos.
• But my strongest argument is the huge odd. 8.75 or even more on Gran Canaria should be taken by any professional bettor. The difference is not so big, taking into consideration the circumstances and the fact that Gran Canaria is hungry for victories while Real Madrid could underestimate the visiting squad. 

Investing a small amount of money at crazy huge odds won’t disappoint you on the long run.
