Efes – smashed by the worst PAO of the century
Grandpa Lasme is gone. Adreian Payne is coming on foot to Athens so probably will arrive in June. Keith Langford is done for the season. Papagiannis, Antetokounmpo and Lekavicius are playing around 5 minutes each. And you destroy one the strongest team of the season in Euroleague. How is this possible? And how can the eternal bench player Ian Vougioukas score more than Bryant Dunston and Brock Motum together?
Another mystery of the last night is ex-NBA Shane Larkin scoring just 3 points for Anadolu Efes. Or the big deficit on the rebound category won by PAO with a comfortable 41-28.
This is not the right way for Efes to be in the Final4. They have money, they have a competitive roster and some big winnings so far this season. But from time to time they are playing the most anaemic basketball in Euroleague. Some changes have to be made.
