F.C. Barcelona – worse than ever
The last evening game of Barcelona in Euroleague came as a confirmation for the low level of the team. They didn’t have any chance against Real Madrid, as they don’t have any when they play away: from Gran Canaria to CSKA, Buducnost or PAO, everybody can smash Barca.
Barca is unfortunately just a home team, full with “stars”, but they never win a game away against a tough opponent. Sometimes, in Palau Blaugrana they can beat Real Madrid (when they come with half of the roster injured) or other good teams, but most of the time, Barca is collecting victories against mediocre teams like Dacka, Joventut, Manresa or Breogan. They are the queen between the low budget teams, but their expectations every year is to win the Euroleague.
But the most terrifying aspect is that coming to Barca, many strong players became after a couple of weeks mediocre or very bad: yesterday, by instance, Pangos made just 2 assists, Singleton didn’t score at all, Tomic had 2 on index rate! And we speak about key-players who play worst than the bench players.
Even if it seems that every year is going worse, I still hope that Barca will be able to change those little things that are necessary to become again a top team in Europe!
