Hapoel Jerusalem, more dangerous than ever
The Israeli team is in an extraordinary shape. If you make and exception the game lost against AEK Athens, Hapoel Jerusalem destroyed in the last rounds every team they faced home or away.
They are more than ever a serious title contender in Basketball Champions League and imagine that before the season started this squad had on all the betting websites the odd between 16 and 18 to win the competition.
Last game against Nymburk proves once again the strength of Hapoel. Without any obligation to score many points they made a record in BCL with 111 points. A team record and maybe a season record which shows to everybody the enormous offensive potential of this squad. To beat Nymburk by more than 30 points in Czech Republic is something! Because they are not a weak team: Nymburk lost in overtime at home against AEK, with 6 points vs. Brose Bamberg and almost won the game in Athens against AEK.
But returning to Hapoel Jerusalem, I see every week a better team, stronger relationships between the players, an Amare Stoudemire who plays now like in his prime and, why not, the next BCL champions.
