Anthony Gill

  Anthony Gill

Anthony Gill got himself into the 2016 NBA Draft, but nobody wanted to draft him, so he didn’t have any choice but to move to Europe. Gill found a team in Germany, as he signed with Riesen Ludwigsburg, but he didn’t even get to play one official match before being released after failing the medical exam. After that unhappy incident, Anthony chose to travel all the way to Turkey and signed with Yesilgiresun Belediye. He played for them only one year. In 2017 Gill was in a search for a team once again, so he decided to try for the Charlotte Hornets in the Summer League, but it didn’t turn out very well for him, so he found a home in BC Khimki. This represented a good opportunity for him to play in the EuroLeague and in a strong domestic league with a pretty decent team. He averaged 11,8 PPG and 4,5 RPG in the 2017-18 EuroLeague season. Anthony was also selected as an All Star in Russia in 2018. Coming into the next season of EuroLeague, Anthony Gill helped his team with a total of 11,5 PPG and 3,5 RPG while having a percentage of 54% from-the-field.
