The Milwaukee Bucks will win the title

About a week ago, the Phoenix Suns had a 2-0 lead in the Finals. Now it is 3-2 for the Milwaukee Bucks, who are very close to winning the title. How did this team manage to come back?

First of all, the Bucks have Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was named the MVP of the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Even though he suffered a painful injury in the Eastern Conference Finals, he showed character and fought through it. Besides being the most constant player of the team, Antetokounmpo had two huge plays: a block in Game 4 and an alley-oop in Game 5.

Secondly, Khris Middleton showed that he deserves to be called an All-Star. He took his role very seriously and had a few games where he was unstoppable offensively. The most important thing is that he didn’t play with fear but with all the confidence shown by his teammates.

Thirdly, the Milwaukee Bucks have the missing piece that prevented them from winning a championship earlier. I’m talking about Jrue Holiday, the defense specialist who gives his best in every game. After shooting four from 20 in Game 4, Holiday improved his percentage from 20% to 60% in Game 5. More than that, he recorded an essential steal that concluded with a slam dunk scored by Antetokounmpo.

On the other side, the Phoenix Suns are using Devin Booker too much, and he is getting tired. Chris Paul is being stopped perfectly by the Bucks, so Monty Williams doesn’t have other options. The Suns had a great run, they earned the respect of the league, but the journey is over. Tuesday, the Milwaukee Bucks will win the title on their court, and one crazy season will be over.
