What can we learn from Venezia – Sassari playoff series?

As I told you in a previous article this will be a balanced series with both teams having a chance to win, regardless of the home-court advantage.

I will analyze below the battle between Umana Venezia and Dinamo Sassari from the point of view of betting:

In the first two games played at Venezia, Sassari came with a lot of energy dominating the first part and then step by step losing ground and in the end, Venezia stole the victory.

Then in the next 2 games, we have 2 clear wins of Dinamo Sassari who gave no chance to the visitors.

And then again it comes game 5 which decided the winner of the entire series which will reach the semifinals of the Italian championship. Sassari led again by double-digit and it seemed that this time it will be an easy win. Entering the last stanza, Dinamo Sassari had 16 points advantage and I am sure that nobody trusted Venezia with that huge comeback. But that’s nothing like this in basketball. There’s always could be a comeback. That’s why huge odds have to be hit.

I am sure that many bettors (not only In this game between Venezia – Sassari) are placing live their money on the team that it seems will win the game. Simply because that team contradicting the bookies’ estimation took a significant advantage by 10 or more points.

The odd is low, let’s say 1.23 but you say to yourself that’s “easy money” to be made here.
