Baskonia with 20-1 run over Zalgiris
After a good start, the visitors from Kaunas were ahead with 4 points in Vitoria. There were only 5 minutes left from the 1st half when Baskonia unleashed hell over the Lithuanians. From 20-24, The host team had an amazing run, outscoring Zalgiris and entering at the half time with an unbelievable advantage: 40-25. Actually, Zalgiris scored just a free-throw in the last 5 minutes of the 2nd quarter, receiving instead 20 points.
After the break, Zalgiris almost tied the game coming strong with 27 points scored in the 2 quarter (more than in the 1st half). It was not enough for the Lithuanian squad to come back. That run of 20-1 made in the 1 part of the game has just weighed too much and decided the entire battle.
