Jan Vesely and Alex Perez could play today against Olympiacos

Signing Marko Guduric back, Fenerbahce can mark a turning point in this Euroleague campaign, reaffirming their will to catch the playoffs. A 7th or 8th spot as they said in some statements last week.

Even if it’s not their year, the Turkish powerhouse is still able to do some good games and their rebirth could start right now. Today they will meet Olympiacos Piraeus that is coming after 2 consecutive losses at home against the Spaniards from Valencia Basket and Real Madrid.

It is not sure if Marko Guduric will play today or how many minutes he will be on the court sine he was signed a couple of days ago, but the good news for Fenerbahce is the comeback of their main center, Jan Vesely. Also, today could make the debut with his new team Alex Perez who had previously Euroleague experience with Zalgiris Kaunas. He was bought recently from Bahcesehir and I think he can help a lot, completing the backcourt options of Fenerbahce.

Olympiacos will be without their veteran center Georgios Printezis, but the Greek team is very ambitious and tough to break. With them you never know, they could be down by 20 and then making a tremendous comeback run. Definitely, a nice game to watch for the fans, tough clash between the teams that were 8 times in the Euroleague Finals in the last 10 editions.
