Fiba Europe Cup playoff is the most balanced ever

Even if it doesn’t involve big teams, Fiba Europe Cup is a decent contest. And this year’s playoff is by far the most balanced playoff in the history of European competitions. After the first leg, 7 from 8 games finished by less than 5 points margin, which means by a possession or two.

Only Bakken Bears trashed Ironi Nes Ziona with 91-74. But the other results of the game 1 of the Fiba Europe Cup playoff were all extremely tied:

Hapoel Holon 85-81 Balkan Botevgrad

Donar Groningen 66-66 Filou Oostende

Avtodor Saratov 76-79 s.Oliver Würzburg

Ventspils 78-76 Pinar Karsiyaka

Telekom Bonn 85-84 Alba Fehervar

ZZ Leiden 93-97 Banco di Sardegna Sassari

Z Mobile Prishtina 77-80 Openjobmetis Varese

These results are the best proof that the level of teams around the old continent becomes more and more homogeneous because basketball is growing everywhere.
