How great Sean Kilpatrick really is?
When Panathinaikos announced the signing of the ex-NBA player Sean Kilpatrick, the fans were thrilled. Everybody thought this could be one of the biggest moves on the market so far this season.
In the first Euroleague game, against Zalgiris, the NBA star didn’t impressed with his numbers, having a regular game. But in the yesterday game at Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Sean Kilpatrick scored 3 points with 20% field goal, grabing 1 rebound, having 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 turnover and 3 fouls committed for a negative index rate: -2.
In the same time, Maccabi’s Angelo Caloiaro, a decent player who many would not consider to be at Euroleague level, scored 20 points with excellent percentage, grabbed 11 rebounds, committing 1 foul and receiving 5 instead, for 33 index rate. This is efficiency! To have this kind of player, underrated but who can do great performances, not overrated NBA stars out of shape and useless.
